Drums Around The Corner
Dit is echt een cd voor drummers of voor liefhebbers van lange drums solo's, opgenomen op
29 maart 1959. Art Blakey gaat samen met Philly Joe & Roy Haynes voluit. Op het eerste nummer "moose the mooche" van Charlie Parker worden de thema's afgewisseld met conga's en veel, tot heel veel drums. Nog fijn aan deze plaat is dat de drums iets minder diep in de mix liggen in vergelijking met andere opnames.

Ahhhhh man. I really wanted to hear this. But the link is dead (it was deleted because "complaints were received".) Is there any way you can up it again, or put it on another host site, I would love to hear it.
If you do upload it, I can give you Art Blakey's "Moanin'" in exchange... (though you might already have that album, since it's probably his most popular one... it's unfourtunetly the only Blakey album I have. But if you don't have it, I will upload it for you in exchange for you re-upping this one.)
